UIP provides international students the opportunity to study alongside U.S. students at a top-ranked public institution. Participants can enroll for as little as one quarter or up to a full academic year, gaining access to the entire UCSB campus and its diverse academic offerings. The program serves as a valuable stepping stone for those seeking to enhance their global academic and professional profiles.

Program Highlights:

  • Academic Coursework: Earn University of California (UC) academic credits transferable to your home university.
  • English Language Courses: Enhance listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills through specialized English language instruction.
  • Professional Development: Specialize in areas such as Business, Project Management, and Marketing to acquire practical skills.

UIP accepts applications year-round, with sessions beginning in Summer, Fall, Winter, and Spring. Application deadlines are typically six weeks before the program start date.

Additional Opportunities:

Students enrolled in UIP have the option to pursue a Professional Diploma by completing specific coursework in areas such as Business Administration, Digital Marketing, and Project Management. Completing three consecutive quarters may also make students eligible for Optional Practical Training (OPT), allowing them to work in the U.S. for up to a year in their field of study.
