UCSB’s University Immersion Program (UIP) offers a comprehensive academic and cultural experience for international students, combining rigorous coursework with opportunities for professional development and cultural exchange. UIP provides international students the opportunity to study alongside U.S. students at a top-ranked public institution. Participants can enroll for as little as one quarter or up to a full academic year, gaining access to the entire UCSB campus and its diverse academic offerings. The program serves as a valuable stepping stone for those seeking to enhance their global academic and professional profiles.

Additional Opportunities:
Students enrolled in UIP have the option to pursue a Professional Diploma by completing specific coursework in areas such as Business Administration, Digital Marketing, and Project Management. Completing three consecutive quarters may also make students eligible for Optional Practical Training (OPT), allowing them to work in the U.S. for up to a year in their field of study.
